This book is a real story written by a very strong woman. The fact she was willing to write things about herself that weren’t always positive, tells you we can all relate to her struggles. Anyone can relate to her story and the families journey. I encourage everyone to read this book and enjoy. From the very beginning of the book it is clear that Dianna poured her heart & soul into this. We've heard a lot of Demi's story over the years, but little was given about her background & the family she came from. In reading this book, it becomes clear that the determination, resilience, & strength that Demi has shown is a direct result of having Dianna as her mother. Dianna's willingness to open herself up to judgement in telling her story is admirable and the situations she describes are ones that many families can find themselves in, even if they haven't gone the route to stardom. It is written in a way that you feel as if you're experiencing the story as it unfolds & is hard to put down once you've started. This is a book that not only fans of Demi & her family will enjoy, but others who are looking to understand the way that addiction/mental illness can affect the entire family & how a mother's strength & love can far surpass the challenges life brings. This book is the most inspiring, empowering, influence, eye opening book I’ve ever read. Dianna and her family have made a huge impact in my life personally with the struggles I have faced and still face! This book has shown me that I’m not alone IN ANY BATTLE THAT COMES MY WAY! This book shows resilience, strength and bravery .. and the courage to tell a emotional and LIFE CHANGING story! I’ve faced many challenges in life from bullying, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, SH, BP, going to Treatment etc and all of these are discussed in this book.. the more I read this book the more I know about myself and how I too can overcome the battles I haven’t gotten a grip on yet and how I can be brave enough to ask for help! Dianna is the true definition of a hero not only for her daughters but for the billions of other people she will touch with this book. The realization that they could live a happy and healthy life they deserve! It’s not all emotional .. there’s some really amazing and interesting things about Diannas Family and her family now and there’s some humor too! The hardships, life lessons, BRAVERY AND HONESTY.. The good and the bad.. and all the above this book has been such a light in my life.. and so have the De La Garza & Lovato Family! I recommend this book to ANY AGE! To parents whose kids are struggling and they’re missing the little and big signs.. to young teens who need help but feel alone and are too afraid to ask .. to young adults trying to find there place in this world.. to ANYONE WHO MAY NEED TO LEARN A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THEMSELVES .. and of course know about this incredible.. resilient.. empowering.. inspiring.. BRAVE.. COURAGEOUS.. & STRONG Family.. Once you start.. You won’t be able to stop!!! This book is literally my new favorite book ever. After reading just the prologue , it brought tears to my eyes. I love the Lovato and De La Garza family so much that it broke my heart reading about their trials and tribulations. Dianna is so raw and vulnerable in detailing an intricate and beautiful novel about their family. I strongly recommend this book even if you don't know the family, because it still sends an empowering message. I finished the book after a couple of days of reading and it is amazing to perceive the journey of this beautiful family. I felt frustration, sadness and at times was so into each chapter's obstacles that I wanted to reach in a hug each and every one of these women. It is true that sometimes we search for happiness and forget to find it amongst each other. I am happy, however, that this family's love was not shattered by the many challenges they faced. Such an inspiration and so many mental health issues I can also relate to. Thank you Dianna for sharing your story, I hope this book's message makes it to millions in need of it.If you are a mother that would do anything for your own children including putting your own needs aside, then you should read this book. If you know someone who struggles with mental health issues - anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self loathing,..., then you should read this book. This is not just a book about a mom trying to raise famous daughters, it is a book about a mom trying to do her very best for her family while failing sometimes, and how you can manage it. It is a heartfelt story about raising girls, facing trials, and coming out on top as a family! 



                                
  

THANK YOU AMERICAN AIR AND MASTERCARD: DEMI LOVATO AT THE NEW YORK CITY CENTER

About two months I attended the Demi Lovato exclusive show at the New York City Centre. I was taken by my lovely friends at MasterCard  and American Air. I went home for a couple of days to spend time with family. In turn my manager Hayley called me to inform me that I will have concerts tickets waiting for me at the New York City Centre in the city on 01/24/18, I was beyond shocked I didn't know what was happening at first but then it hit that MasterCard is a sponsors and they always take good care of me. Not only do I have two MasterCard's, but I pay them off religiously and ensure that I keep in good standing with them. American Air is not one of my sponsors, but a few of my sponsors do go through them when we would have to travel. Nothing more amazing than to have such sweet sponsors. Not only did they take me to the New York City Centre, they are also taking me to the Capital One Centre in Washington DC. So excited I received my ticket to see Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled, with special guest Khelani on 3/24, which worked out because I have to take my God daughter, sister, and cousin because they parents so happened to volunteer me to take them. I'm not complaining because I am going to go and have the best time of my life so excited.


The concert at the New York City Center was not only intimate, but amazing this would be my first time seeing Demi Lovato in concert, back in 2016 I was supposed to go to the Future Now Tour, but due to work and school at the time I had to give up my ticket I only heard how amazing it was I was sad I couldn't go, but now I have the opportunity to see her and experience the amazingness of her hows I am so excited to experience this with my some of my favourite little. Now back to the New   York City Center concert it was wonderful she is a powerhouse. Her voice is something I cannot explain. When she begins to sing you feel chills in a good way he voice puts you in a sultry mood and it helps you to grasp your emotions in all kinds of ways.

MONTHLY FAVOURITES: FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

It’s been a while since I’ve shared some of my favorite products and it’s long overdue. If you follow me on Insta Stories, I often share the products I’m using (and loving), but sometimes I forget that after 24 hours, the information is wiped out.

Of course there are some products that come and go, but then there are those that deserve to live in a post.

Olaplex Hair Perfector: I first found out about this stuff from Julie. I met Julie at Create & Cultivate and for whatever reason, I took an instant liking to her. Her energy, her vibe, and it didn’t hurt that she had a beautiful French Canadian accent. I started following Julie on Instagram and one day she expressed how Olaplex basically “saved her hair.” Like me, she uses heat and goes lighter in color (let’s be honest, not the best combo). I immediately ordered it and after sharing it on my own stories, a bunch of you guys messaged me with a “Yes! This product is incredible.” Well, it’s definitely helped in making my hair feel healthier and happier. It’s basically a reparative treatment that rebuilds broken hair.

No. 3 is the at-home version (No. 1 and No. 2 are done in-salon and apparently many of you also swear by it) and is a less potent version.

Laura Mercier Primer: I’m a bit late to this primer party but now I totally get why it’s such an industry favorite. Whether I’m wearing tinted moisturizer, foundation or just concealer, it does a beautiful job at prepping the skin for what’s to come and actually keeping my skin looking good all day. I usually set whatever makeup I’m wearing with their Translucent Pressed Powder. Another favorite! Skinceuticals C E Ferulic: I started using this stuff when my dermatologist said that if she could recommend two ingredients to her patients, it would be retinol and vitamin C.

This particular serum contains multiple antioxidants (a blend of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and ferulic acid) to help prevent wrinkles, sun damage, and to help fade dark spots. Furthermore, when you apply it before your SPF, it protects against free radicals and basically makes your SPF work better.

Whatever brand you decide to go with, Vitamin C and retinol are both the type of products that do not give instant results. However, overtime, they’re both scientifically proven to do wonders as we age. I think that’s the biggest misconception with this product. People want immediate results, which I totally get, but after chatting with many industry experts, doctors and actual scientists, that won’t always happen. BUT , when comparing women (and men) who’ve used both retinol and a vitamin c overtime, there’s a dramatic difference in the skin.

L’Occitane Cleansing Oil: For those who’ve read my beauty favorites in the past, you know that I typically do a double cleanse when washing my face at night. I started using this cleansing oil a few months ago and I absolutely love it. It does a beautiful job at breaking down all of my makeup, including waterproof mascara, and leaving my face feeling cleansed but never dry – especially now as we head into the colder months. I rub a dime-sized amount on my dry face, massage in and then use a cleansing cloth and warm water to remove. I follow up with a drop of Jordan Samuel’s Plie cleanser just to make sure I got everything off.

MONTHLY FAVOURITES: JANURAY FAVOURITES

Being smack in the middle of winter, my face (and lips) crave a little extra TLC. This month, the focus is on prevention, extra hydration and maintaining a glow, even in January. Continue reading for some of my favorite products, including how I’ve started incorporating professional peels and lasers into my routine.

Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Sleep Mask: Whenever my skin is looking dry, haggard or tired, especially in this weather, I live for this stuff. Typically, I’ll wash my face, use my Biologique P50, a hydrating serum and apply this on top. In the morning, my skin looks plumper, dewier and so much more refreshed. It’s not cheap, but I find that it really lasts for a long time. I’ve gotten a few close friends hooked and they agree, it’s worth every penny.

The Lip Scrub By Sara Happ: More than anything else, my lips really suffer in the winter. I’m already a self confessed lip-balm addict, so when my lips feel the slightest been of dryness, they freak out. Of course I have my favorite products for keeping them feeling moisturized (LANEIGE sleeping treatment, Aquaphor and Lano Lips), but aside from those, I’ve been loving how they feel after I exfoliate with a lips scrub. It does the best job at removing all of the dead skin and leaves them feeling so soft. Follow this scrub with your favorite lip treatment and it will melt right in.

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder ‘Translucent’: My favorite translucent powder out there. On the days that I wear makeup, this stuff sets it so beautifully without ever looking cakey or dry, even in the winter. It never interferes with other makeup and gives off such a beautiful, subtle finish.

PCA Skin Intensive Brightening Treatment: For the past few months, I started going to Kevin at Kur Skin Lab for a series of laser treatments and peels. Whenever I’m there, I ask Kevin, who is so knowledgeable and kind, a million questions. I like to know everything. What treatments and products are his favorite and all of the in between details.  In general, he speaks wonders about the PCA line, but when I asked “which one product should I be using?” The answer was retinol. I already knew this, but I always like to hear the same thing over and over again. He swore by the PCA retinol, so I’ve incorporated this into my routine 3x a week. I never use it with any other exfoliations (manual or chemical) and I like to use a moisture barrier before applying so my skin doesn’t get overly dry.

Side note: I started going to Kur after Keiko highly recommended them. She did a series of peels there, which you can read  about here. Full disclosure: Keiko got complimentary treatments, but spoke so highly of them, it made me purchase my own package. If you do decide to go, make an appointment with Kevin and he will help you figure out what your skin needs most. Laura Mercier Face Illuminator ‘Devotion’: Once I started using a highlighter, my face is not complete without one. Even on the days that I’m wearing minimal makeup, I apply on top of my blush and my face just comes to life. The Laura Mercier one is light, goes on beautifully and gives the perfect natural glow. Plus, it always looks so great in photos!

February Travel Diaries: 10 Days Abroad: Havana, Cuba & Hulhulé, Maldives

KLASSIC T BABY, is jammed packed with so many travels happening, especially with NY Fashion Week beginning. Then there's London, Milan, & Paris Fashion Week around the corner as well. We here at team KLASSIC T BABY are busy trying to get everything done. And when I say EVERYTHING WE MEAN EVERYTHING why you ask well its been a month of traveling and seeing some familiar places and some new places. In the month of February, I went Maldives and Cuba. My first time ever going to Cuba. I was in Hulhulé, Maldives for five day. I wast there with PROTEINWORLD in paradise and it was the most fun I had in a long time. I met new friends and reconnected with old friends which was the best time! I was there working on something special that will be out FALL 2018! Can't wait for you all to see what I was working on. Like I said before in January's travel diaries I know some of you get upset when I don't share what I am working on. The reason I don't post like that on social media is for two reasons I can spill the beans easily when it comes to giving away what I am working on. And second, I get too excited then I am ready to spill everything. Keep your eyes peeled for what's to come. We stayed on a private yacht, the Marselia Star, Luxury Yacht; which was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and cannot begin to express to you how beautiful and life changing yacht life is. It was the most beautiful and breathtaking moment of my life. Any of my OG followers know how much I love I gushed about the Maldives the first time I went, but I stayed in a private villa, which was a wonderful experience as well.

Cuba is absolutely beautiful I will never forget that beautiful place.  I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to explore a beautiful for the VERY FIRST TIME EVER, the culture, the architecture, the people, the food, music, just EVERYTHING about Cuba screams love, romance, adventure. I went to Cuba with TIGER MIST for a campaign which was amazing. I spent 5 luxurious enchanting days in Cuba. I have to admit that now I am back I miss it there sooo sooo much. TIGER MIST  has a campaign that they have been doing for awhile, to take models around the world, which is one of the most rewarding humble experiences anyone could experience. Having the opportunity to explore another culture and learning of the culture and trying the food is so amazing and life changing. I did not care that I barely had service to be on social media, I was just grateful for the service I had to talk with my family so they knew I was okay and in good health. I was in Cuba for another collaboration  campaign opportunity for 2018 and I think you guys are going to be so stoked when I reveal the surprise. We stayed in the city of Havana; which might I add is a beautiful sight to see. We stayed in Blue Mansion, Hostal My Way; which is one incredible place all I have to say is that its truly and utterly and enchanting paradise for sure.

January Travel Diaries: 12 Days Abroad: Miami, Fiji, & Blue Bay Mauritius

Well January has been one hell of a month for the  KLASSIC T BABY team, why you ask well its been a month of traveling and seeing some familiar places and some new places. In the month of January we went back to Miami, Fiji, and went to a new place in France, Blue Bay Mauritius, which is located on the South end of France. My first time ever going there. I was in Miami for three day. I wast there with BOOHOO in paradise and it was the most fun I had in a long time. I met new friends and reconnected with old friends which was the best time! I was there working on something special that will be out FALL 2018! Can't wait for you all to see what I was working on. I know some of you get upset when I don't share what I am working on. And second, I get too excited then I am ready to spill everything. Keep you eyes peeled for whats to come. We stayed at the Fontainebleau Hotel, which is one of my favourite hotels. So beautiful there. Any of my OG followers know how much I love that hotel and when I go to Miami I either stay there or the Hotel 1, which is my other favourite hotel.

Fiji is absolutely beautiful I will never forget that beautiful place. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to do so with REVOLVE for the second time, I went to Fiji with REVOLVE last year for a campaign which was amazing you can check out my instagram for the few photos that I posted. REVOLVE has a campaign that they have been doing for awhile, called REVOLVE AROUND THE WORLD. I was grateful to travel with them twice, before the trip to Fiji they were in Thailand, which was so cool to see all my friends that got to attend experience such an incredible place. I was in Fiji for a campagin opportunity 2018 is definitely our year for sure. Cannot wait to share with you all that I was working on while in Fiji with the amazing REVOLVE. We stayed on Castaway Island which is one incredible place all I have to say is that its truly and utterly paradise for sure. 

Blue Bay Mauritius is one AMAZING place okay I can't lie you guys! If you all have ever seen the clear blue waters of Jamaica, Hawaii, or even Bora Bora you will definitely love this end of France. One of the most incredible experiences of my precious semi young life. I went there with the amazing BALIBODY which if you are a real OG reader to the blog, you'll remember last year I mentioned them in my post about their amazing tanning body oil in my post about, 'My Summer Vacay Beauty  Essentials'. I went to the tropical areas of France to shoot something very very very very special and I cannot wait to spill the bean on what I got to do with them. 

I told you guys that I was coming for 2018 and I did just that don't under estimate what the power of hard work can do for you. I am humbled, blessed, and grateful for all the opportunities that I have had in the past and in the present. Thank you so much to you all and my ever so caring, loving, and loyal sponsors none of this would be possible without you all. HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR!!!!! I love you guys and thank you sooooooooooo soooooooooo much for letting my dreams happen.
